About the Author Shannon K. Davis is not your typical anything, unless you count another rat in the race. She works a full time job during the week and tries to write whenever she has down time, which isn't much. She writes during her breaks and lunch, she writes at home, she writes while visiting friends or family. It's just what she does. Currently working on book 2 of the Chrysalis Series, and raising a pack of Olde English Bulldogges, and also trying to be a domestic goddess, and she's got this crazy bee in her bonnet to try to do a fashion line in 2016. Somewhere during all this she still fits in time to spend with her loving and wonderful husband, Adam, plays online mmorpgs with him and good friends who've now scattered to the four winds, netflix binges of the walking dead and longmire, takes care of previously mentioned pack of furbabies, cooks some amazing meals, and sleep. It is not beauty sleep, it is safety sleep. Your safety. She sleeps, you live, we're good. She's a foodie, a glitter addict, and all around hermit. Total conspiracy theorist, but has the intelligence to back it all up. Loyal, loving, funny, and stubborn. Absolute world-class smart ass and a jedi-master of sarcasm. Definately the type of person you want on your side, and you know you can call anytime who will always be there to help. Allergic to coffee, must have coke/dr. pepper/mr. pibb to sooth the savage beast, or copious amounts of ice cream and she'll be your best friend. Or the reader's digest version of "about the author": loving wife, fur-mother, dedicated friend, writer, artist, and....ok sounds way too much like something you'll find on a tombstone. So back to the real author: I'm more than what you think, but maybe not what you actually think. I'm all over the place, but I'm fun at parties. I think, if I ever went to parties. I love writing, it's my passion, my calling, and I pray you like my newbie attempts at it. Or you can tell me to not quit my day job. Yes I'm a follower of Christ and yes I have read my book. Gripping and thrilling By Shanna Franklin Fans of vampire novels or erotica will enjoy this book as it melds the two genres so well, those that enjoy both will be in for an even bigger treat. I devoted this book not just once, and enjoyed catching some of the subtle, well thought out treasures on my second reading. I am excited to read the next book and am sure I will finish it in a couple marathon sessions as well. I look forward to reading much more from this talented storyteller.
