She is also a Jenai, a genie who bring luck to a man of her choosing but as with most magic it comes with rules.Jace loves the high roller life, he is so hooked he has bargained his sole to a shadow demon to live it. With his luck not quite the same since he parted ways with his shadow demon Jace is determine to find the one that can bring back his success.Jace sits in the corner of Glitter, night after night he watches the beauty they call Sydney as she dances on stage. That is until Sydney builds the courage and decides to confront the mystery man and Jace is made play his hand. Will Sydney be willing to listen to what Jace is offering and will Jace realise Sydney is so much more to him than just a lucky charm before he loses everything.I enjoyed reading Playing the Odds and would recommend you add it to your TBR lists today.

The story was good, but I would have liked it to be told with more about their paranormal background and the story to be longer. I always want the short stories to be a little longer, because I am just getting into the people and the story, and then it's over.

He says nothing, just sits in the back watching her do her thing. Thing is, he's a hunky and Sydney has her own fantasies about him.Come to find out,Jace is looking for someone just like Sydney and all her secret talents. What starts out as mutual admiration turns into something more, sizzling hot more.Sydney and Jace make quite the pair and as the story unfolds there are twists that knocked me off my chair and had me doing the OMG!Not going to put this book down now thing. Ms. Price definitely knows how to throw a monkey wrench into Jace's plans. But you'll have to read it to find out how things work out.
