They really have me interested in wanting to read the full length books.I have had the privilege of reading other books by Shyla Colt and have loved her writing. This was my first time reading LaQuette and I can assure you it won’t be my last.Unrestrained is a very short read and includes teasers from two upcoming books For the Love of Dixie by Shyla Colt and Power Privilege & Pleasure by LaQuette. These combined teasers will really get you wanting to read more about the characters in their books as well as give you more insight to their emotional and powerful struggles.For the Love of Dixie Kings of Chaos #3 by Shyla ColtThis book is about Dixie Rose and Echo two young people in love, both growing up in the Kings of Chaos of MC. They are dealing with racism at its ugliest form. Echo breaks Dixie’s heart, but instead of letting it consume her she has moved on in life. She left the MC and that life style behind and has gone to College and made something of herself. One phone call will bring Dixie back home to the MC, to her family and back to the town where her heart was broken.Dixie’s character is one powerful one. She is strong, determined and has a voice. We don’t get to see a lot of this character but I will tell you for what she has to put up with, she is remarkably strong and is determined. I really loved that she did not let the views of others bring her down. But even with all her self-determination, how strong will she be when she comes face to face with a very determined Echo?Joel Aka Echo, is a character that has sacrificed so much to become a Kings of Chaos, including the love of his life. When he was younger and not a fully patched member he did what he had to do to protect Dixie and to become part of the MC. All those years apart has only intensified his love and need for Dixie. Echo knows that being in an interracial relationship will not be fully accepted in the MC but he is willing to fight for their relationship this time around. Echo is one determined man and is on a mission to get Dixie back, but her anger and stubbornness is not something he is used too. Echo knows one thing for sure, Dixie eats, sleeps and breathes the MC and he staked his claim on her a long time ago. He has no problem reminding her just what that claim means in the MC. She is smart and has the capability to think and prepare for the unthinkable before other’s can. AJ is very controlled in her personal life and her professional life. She would seem a bit cold hearted to many, but there is a reason for her demeanor.Elliot Quillen to may seems to have the world at his fingertips until an accident took away his very well planned future. Elliot is forced to rethink his life and try to find out where to go from there. His father feels it is time for him to come back and work for him. He has been controlled by his father and others and no longer wants to live that way. I loved this character. He goes against everything he is taught and walks away from what is offered to set out on his own. Elliot’s new planned life puts him face to face with AJ and after one meeting he has these very naughty and wicked desires for her. It is funny because these two are totally polar opposites but they both feel and want things from each other. The confrontations these two have will have you saying – HELLOOO??? That right there is FOREPLAY!!! Can AJ and Elliot combine their power struggle and surrender?I can’t wait for these books to come out in the Fall. I will be grabbing these books the second they go live. I really need to know the whole story.

Unrestrained By Sassy This is the first time I have read this author duo and I enjoyed them very much!Kings of Chaos- For the Love of DixieThis is a short MC romance, I know MC (motorcycle) romances are very popular right now. They're not really my cup of tea, but that is okay, to each his own. I can read them, and enjoy them if they have a good story, and this one does. I've not read a story like this one before, but it kept me engaged, it was interesting and well written. It is about Dixie and Echo (Joel) Echo was in love with Dixie a bi-racial girl whose dad was in the club. Echo's dad made him leave her because of her being biracial and is trying to keep all blacks out of the club that he runs. He wants her back and plans on getting her back. They love each other still after all these years...... to find out what happens read this one!Power, Priviledge and PleasureThis is the 2nd story in this book.Elliot had everything until an accident stole his future. He left his father's company because he was tired of being under his thumb. He moves from Cali to NYC to work for his best friend. His friend's female lawyer AJ or Alexis makes him sign an iron clad contract. She is an alpha female and is controlled, arrogant, manipulative, and Elliot wants her....BAD!I enjoyed these stories, but with as with all short stories, I feel like I didn't get the whole story! They are fine for waiting on an appointment when you don't have very much time.I read this book as part of the review team of Mommy's Naughty Playground

Great Short Teasers Into the Novels By Johnnie-Marie Howard So I got a short glimpse into each story and was amazed and totally wanted more by the end of it. I couldn't get over how amazing it was. Not my first time reading from Shyla Colt but was my first time reading from LaQuette and wow she's just as great as Shyla is. The characters in both are wonderful and easy to love and read. Now each story was short and only got a small piece of what's to come with the story. I know I was hooked on them both and wanted more I couldn't believe it was over before it even started. The small sexual and emotional filled teasers that the authors shared is enough to have you on the edge of your seat. I know I was. It's kind of hard to write a review on just small pieces of the story I don't want to feel like I'm not giving the author enough credit for their remarkable writing.***I received this story for free in exchange for an honest review, see more of my blog post @ http://jmhoward2007.blogspot.com ***
