1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. Erotic, and very funny...as far as it goes. By wjh The author clearly knows the original, and has produced an amusing parody. Bronte buffs will either be amused, or horrified: Jane has sex with all of her schoolmates, teachers, and even Rochester's elderly housekeeper! But I was disappointed: almost the last half of this segment was pretty much a reprint of the original, almost word-for-word, with only a word changed here and there.(Maybe no one is expected to read past the first...er, stimulating pages?) The author missed her chance to put her own spin on the material, which is a shame: it probably would have been very funny. But given the impressive amount of work the author produces, no reader can expect perfection: it's her call to focus on quantity or quailty. Hope she aims for the latter: she has a wry wit, capable of far more than I think the reader gets to see in this segment.
