As the way the book ended, it wasn’t exactly a high noteI want to say the ending was a cop out considering that the author started the relationship such a way and end it on the same note really. I do hope the next book ends on a better note as there is a story to be found in this book that is enjoyable despite the problems with the end. It not all about the sex and this book proves it with focusing on the story first and scenes second.It honestly a bit tame compared to some other MMF romances I have read over the time. I almost want to call it a sweet ménage because the author doesn’t go there compared to majority of ménages I have read. As the author wants to focus on the heroine and give Phoebe a chance to discover herself as this a journey of self realisationPhoebe has been in a relationship with a bit of loser and despite her bosses telling her so. She has no reason to listen to them until she forced to face reality. A reality that she hates and she has decided to take charge and make some changes in her life .A fresh new start on her terms and she isn’t expecting anything to happen.However fate has ideas as Phoebe has a bit of low esteem because of this now ex-boyfriend and she determined to create a new her that she can love herself.Turning up at the gym at next door of new place was by chance but running into Liam. The mysterious guy she happened to bump into the day she decided to leave her ex-boyfriend . As this guy wants her and hasn’t been able to stop thinking about her.Liam is a successful gym owner with his partner ALlister who ahs been looking for a woman to include in their relationship. Not anything ground breaking but he felt something for her ever since he bumped into Phoebe out on the streets. Allister is happy to go along thinking that she be a temporary until he meets her and feel exactly the same.However Phoebe doesn’t want a relationship and despite the guys interest in her, she isn’t willing to take a chance and get her hear broken again. Will the guys ever get a chance ?If you are looking for a quick ménage read that isn’t too hot. Give this one a go as hopefully the second book will provided the outcome I wanted and hoped for .3.5 couples
0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Hot By Julie Barrett I really enjoyed this MMF ménage, it is a sweet and sexy romance with a good storyline. There is also a lot of emotion in this book - at one point I was crying buckets of tears. All of the main characters were well drawn and likeable, I loved all of them. There was a big twist that I really didn't see coming, the author surprised me big time, which is good as I like stories that are a bit unpredictable. I'd have liked it to be a little bit longer though, as the second half of the book felt rather rushed and some important events were made to feel almost insignificant. Having said that, I still really liked this book and I would definitely read more books by this author.Phoebe is having a tough time after being betrayed by her boyfriend, but her life takes an unexpected turn when she meets Lincoln and Alistair. They have been together for years and are very happy, but when they meet Phoebe they are both captivated by her. Can they help her overcome her shyness and become the beautiful, confident, happy young woman that they know she can be?The dynamics between Phoebe, Lincoln and Alistair were great, they really worked well together. Their chemistry was sizzling which resulted in some hot, hot, hot scenes. Overall I really enjoyed this book and I'll be looking out for more books by Lacey Roberts. Four stars.I received a copy of this book in exchange for a honest review.

When she learns of her boyfriends affair, she decides it's over. But that is the day she meets Linc. As she is headed to the courthouse to file some paper work, she's so upset about the affair she runs tight into him...literally. She is stunned by his kindness and how absolutely gorgeous he is.Linc can not stop thinking about the woman he helped and how there is some connection between the two. He doesn't know anything about her but het name. When he returns home he tells his partner, Alistair, about her. He encourages him to seek her out, but she finds them before he can find her.Can three people, being attracted to one another, work together and be happy?This is a good, quick read if you need something fast. The story is very fast paced and skips a bit, but enjoyable. I would have liked a lot more details and not skipping through months at a time. I did not feel like I got to know the characters and wanted more about their personalities and quirks. It was worth an afternoon read.
