One thing I really like about all of the Wayward Saints series is that every book mentions all characters. While focusing on certain couples per book, we are still involved with each family member as well. This review may spoil earlier books in the series. So far each of the Wayward Saints have been single and mingling with club whores since they were in their teens, the dad included. As soon as they meet/see their current significant other, they are in balls to the wall. The same goes with Dom and Coley, which for some reason didn't fly with me. I like Dom's character overall, however he has quite a bit going on in his life for Coley to just forget hers and decide to be with him. Same can be said for her, she just escaped a horrible incident and in two days is totally in love with the sexy biker.I'm not a believer in love at first sight, but know it does exist for many, so I kept reading. Along with Coley's past, a huge bomb is dropped in Dom's lap and never gets resolved, at least in this book it doesn't. It was odd that Coley and Dom didn't investigate the situation a little more before talking about forever like they were. That coupled with what Coley left behind, felt brushed over and unresolved in my mind. That said, Wayward Son again pushed the story of the MC forward another baby step. Each book dabbles in the past, like Dom and Jase's time in prison was explored more this time around, then leaves us with a giant step forward. Which is why I'm hoping the two situations left open with Dom and Coley will be explained and closed in the next book. Written from dual points of view, K. Renee gives us another sexy biker to steam up the pages.Reviewed for Renee Entress's Blog.

Heart broken and alone she finds herself in Vegas. Just when she is at her lowest fate brings Dominic Davoli into her life. He is a sexy biker, just the kind of complication Collette doesn’t need in her life. But she can’t resist his charming smile. He makes her feel beautiful and wanted two things she has never felt.Dominick is destined to be the next president of the Wayward Saints MC. His father is gearing up to retirement wanting to spend more time with his new young wife and baby. It has been planned since the day he was born that Dom would take over and he is more than ready. He never wanted an old lady, club whores were fine by him. No ties, no chance of heartbreak if danger strikes. He never thought he would meet a woman who could keep his attention longer than a quick roll in the hay. Then came Coley— now he will do anything to make her stay in Vegas and in his life for good. This is a great MC series. I love all these guys. It always warms my heart as I read each one of the sexy as sin men get taken down by the love bug. They all say never, but end up in the arms of the women of their dreams. I love Kay Renee’s MC stories and the way she writes tough women and alpha male men. When Dominick and Collette’s one night of hot sweat sex turns into so much more, watch out things heat up right away. This couple burns up the sheets every chance they get. It’s not easy for this couple at first, Collette has major insecurity issues thanks to her jerk ex-boyfriend. Then Dom gets himself arrested leaving Coley waiting alone for him to get out.Their love is of the insta-love kind which most of the books in the series have but I love it. That’s what reading romantic fiction is all about love at first sight.I can’t wait for the next book in the series.RECEIVED AN ARC IN EXCHANGE FOR AN HONEST REVIEW.

You could read this as a standalone but, as I have stated after reading each of the previous books, I don’t recommend it because the storylines do interact/overlap with each other and the best way to enjoy this series would be to start at the beginning. This story focuses on Dom, Anslie’s brother and Cason’s son and Collette/Coley. Wow, I am not sure where to begin with their story. For me the story started off good and then BAM, it just got over the top cheesy for my taste and talk about FAST, their story gives “insta-love" a whole new meaning and honestly, I really didn’t “feel” it and I didn’t particularly enjoy it. The storyline between this couple was immature, the relationship moved at lightning speed which, hence, made it totally unbelievable for me on any level. I just had a hard time connecting with this story and/or the characters and its too bad because I looked forward to Dom’s story. There was one “twist” in the story with Dom that I truly disliked and then it never got resolved. I am assuming it will pick up in the next book, I mean it HAS to because you don’t just drop a “bomb” like that and then leave it unresolved and yet nobody seemed to even care, it was odd to me.The writing this time around faltered a bit for me and personally, going forward, I need much more growth in the characters development because this book left me unsatisfied. The potential for this group and its future characters could be limitless and although this book for me fell very short of my expectations, I hope it picks up again with the next one.I am still intrigued by the secondary characters as well as catching up with Brantley, Anslie, and their family as well as Gunner and Casey, Cason and Henley and now, Dom and Coley and their family, but this book left me a bit hesitant going forward. I don’t just need a great executed storyline but I also need and want great character development, “believable” and “relatable” character development and this book just didn’t meet up to my personal reading expectations. Every author at times can have a hiccup and this book was it for me but I am holding out hope that I won't be disappointed in the next story.
