By Cookie Moretti Dominique by Nicole Colville (MM/Romance)I received a copy of this book from Inked Rainbow Reads in exchange for an honest review.****4 STARS****First off, hats off to the cover for this book. That's what first caught my attention, because there is seriously something haunting, beautiful, strong and vulnerable about the model's pose. I love the cover. Okay, on to the story.I think this is my first story from this author. It's a simple book with a "Pretty Woman" sort of theme to it. Dominique's mother gets sick when he was 15 and his sister 8, his father leaves, then she dies when he's 18, leaving him to take care of his sister. Oh his sister...I really, really disliked her. Such an ungrateful cow. She knew that her older brother is an escort, selling his body just to put a roof over her head, clothes on her body and food in her stomach yet she was such a BRAT. Nothing she does will ever redeem her in my eyes.Dominique...he was interesting and confusing. He played so much characters to please his customers that he'd lost his real "self". Even I couldn't see which was a role and which was real sometimes. Jacob saw him though.Jacob, the Doctor and Dom. He's what saved this from being a 3 to a 4 Star review for me. He was just so freakin sweet and in love with Dominique. Really, all the things he said to Dominique just made my poor, romantic heart flutter. I'd have probably ripped my clothes off and jumped Jacob...*cough*All in all, I'm willing to read another book from this author. ^_^
