His imprisonment was torturous, a complete nightmare. Now he is thirty six years old and has to decide what to do with his life and recover from the demons that are tormenting him. His greatest weakness is his sister Julia and her family. He loves her with no limits and would sacrifice everything for her. His parents, although they had kicked him out of the house when Johnny was 18, now they are helping him clean his record.He's sexy, good looking and women seem to fall to his feet. He is a big player and he uses sex to forget. Bex is a rising rock star. She is the lead singer of a rock band. She's distant, tough and extremely beautiful. She runs her bitch shield on everybody but Johnny manages to annihilate it and win her over. The sex between them is off the charts hot. There is a realistically raw vibe to it that I found refreshing. Johnny is strong and rough in bed, he likes to dominate and be in control. The sex is quite graphic and this added to the book.What I didn't like was that Johnny was out screwing any girl that moved, which I found it an exaggeration and pretty hypocritical of him. Also, I didn't like his behavior when Bex decided at some point to leave him. And what about his parents? I understand that they don't have a good relationship with their son, but they do their best to help him. It's like they are the silent heroes in this story and we get almost nothing about them.I love that this book touched on some real life situations about imprisonment, rape and abuse. Also, I loved Bex because after all the bad things that happened to her she hasn't given up, she is a fighter! Johnny's intense dom attitude is explosive and will leave you speechless. Lot's of kinky sex & a reasonable story. I would recommend it!

I was sucked into this book from the first page. I had such a love/hate relationship with Johnny. One minute I wanted to smack him and the next I wanted to hold him and cuddle him. I could fully understand why he was the way he was especially as the book goes on and you get the full story. At first, Bex was the same as all the other girls just a filler to pass the time but soon Johnny realizes that she is one that might change everything.I loved Bex!! She gave it right back to Johnny so many times. He was so cocky and arrogant but Bex could give him hell right back. She has her own demons she is fighting but she knows that Johnny is different. She fights him tooth and nail but soon her feelings start to change. But how do two broken people who don’t know how to love or let anyone in actually start to open up?Johnny and Bex both had flaws and they were both trying to fight the attraction for one another. One-minute things were going great and then BAM everything blew up again. Now I did get pissed off a few times throughout the book. There were some things that Johnny did that I thought were unforgiveable. I don’t want to put spoilers in but he should have known better. I did love the end of the book. It was absolutely beautiful and made me love Johnny and Bex a little more.

She has captured and broken my heart more times then should be allowed. Sentenced is a wonderful read. Lots of emotion, sexyness, suspense, drama, hate and love. Well worth the one click and would be a great addition to and romance readers collection.The story was a hard one for me to get pulled in to at 1st, the main character Johney was not one I was attach to right off the bat. His personality was off for me at 1st. He seemed confused in who he was. Which I am sure was intended. However it took me to around 50% in the book to actrully get hooked. Once I did I could not out it down.I feel in love with Bex and Johney. They where both dealing with so much internal hate and fear and where so garded they fought what their desires. Sex is sex but when emotions start to play a part in it... Well sex becomes something so much more. These to had no idea how to handle it.I loved watching there journey and seeing them find love, happiness and have there dreams come true. Even if took hell and a lot of crazyness for them to get there.The only reason this did not get the 5th star was because of how long it took me to get involved in the book. This is a must read. Without a doubt just for me I wish we could have had less Johney confused and more Johney knowing himself.I was given this for a honest review! Thank you so much.
