He writes clearly, provides excellent information, and manages to make even the driest facts interesting. This glimpse into Jefferson's early years, his family life, and his reluctant rise through politics was a nice background to the man who would leave a lasting mark on America.

You think you know allabout the founding fathers you don't. Fleming puts forth facts that you just didn't learn about in history class. I would recommend "Young Jefferson" or any of his books.
