Richard has a way with words, you feel like he's just sitting across the table from you sharing his travels. Not only does this book share with you his and Theresa's travels, but also their love of life. I found myself making notes of places they visited so that I could spend more time and do my own research. I recommend this book highly.

The photos alone make this worth buying, but his prose and poetry make it a unique and beautiful work. He is a vet in both senses, veterinarian and Vietnam veteran. These experiences flavor his descriptions and empathy for parts of the world I will never visit, but makes me feel like I have!

Although it was written mainly for women, I was a little curious and had a read and I most say it was very interested from beginning all the way to the end. I especially liked her humor throughout the entire book, she was real and straight up about many things, also the way she used Bible Verses to bring forward her message and this might be my favorite part of it her 'Dear Diary' summary at the end of each chapter. I would therefore advice both male and female Christian or non Christian to have a read of the book. Trust me when I tell you it'll be a blessing to your life. It has teached me new things as well as reinforced my believes on how our relationships should be with our Heavenly Father and our partners.I've read from cover to cover and I most say Congratulations Shaniqua. May God continue to Bless you, may he also grant you the wisdom and understanding that you need so your life may continue to be a testimony to change many lifes for the greater good.God Bless Sis

By Rachel Austin #DiaryofaGirl is just as the name suggests; it is a diary of the author's life and all that she has been through. I like that she is open and honest about her life and she is also very humorous. Reading the book really made me laugh. But what I love most about this book is the way she makes reference to scripture and shows us how God had a plan for her life and how He was fighting for her even when she didn't realize it.It encourages you to continue to hold on and put your trust in God no matter what you have been through or going through. God has a divine plan for our lives and He has placed us here for a purpose. As the author stated in her book "Brokenness doesn't mean that it's over; broken crayons can still color."I pray that each and every individual who reads this book will be blessed and encouraged. Get your copy and you won't be disappointed.

When his car breaks down Erica shows up and takes the pampered rich boy back to the shop. She's unimpressed by the guy and makes it known she's not falling over herself for some attractive playboy. Unfortunately for Drew, his playboy days are over when he finds out his appeal had more to do with his money and family standing and less to do with him. As Erica and Drew move closer and closer to a relationship outside forces burst into their lives to drive them apart.I was totally on board with this book just from the description of Erica. I wanted to read about a sexy woman with curves getting her happily ever after. I, myself, am a woman with curves and I hate reading book after book after book where every heroine is a size two but has huge breasts. That is not normal and so many of them fulfill that description. I was so ready for a different heroine and I got her. Curvy girl and a mechanic? Awesome!At the same time I was fascinated by Drew. As evidenced by the below excerpt, Drew was not Mr. Fantastic. He was barely Mr. Mediocre. He moved through life through his wealth and when he lost his connection to it, he lost all desirable qualities. It was so refreshing to see a man not be perfect but with a tortured past. I love it when they are a bit different and also inability leads to great quality.This book was full of conflicts from magic to exes and it was a full-throttle adventure. Drew had bounty hunters flooding the garage and Erica had a troubling ex. Between the groups I was enraptured with the action-adventure and didn't want to stop reading. It was a bit slow to start as the characters were introduced but by the time the action began, I was floored.I was kind of happy this was the second book because that gives me an excellent excuse to pick up the first book and hopefully enjoy it all the more. I don't have loads of experience with Ellora's Cave but I'm really curious about this line and am looking forward to following it. I have received a copy of this book in return for an honest review.What do a spoiled, self-righteous, wealthy Air Witch and a self-reliant, big, bold and beautiful woman have in common? Not much at first, but as this wonderfully funny story unfolds we learn that first impressions don't stand a chance when it comes to matters of the heart. I laughed out loud at the conversations between Drew and Erica!Drew is a spoiled man-boy who needs a life lesson and he unluckily has a beast of a Mother who fully intends to teach it to him. With a broken down Ferrari, no available form of currency and not a friend in the world Drew is royally screwed; this is perfect since he is royalty of the Air Witch family in power. I admit that this addition of the supernatural was a bit confusing and almost unnecessary to the story, but it did make for quite a few hysterical moments.Erica, oh Erica. I do love this girl! She is independent and yet unsure of herself. Constantly bombarded by everyone else's opinions of her and her life, she has become introverted and unconfident. The author describes her as a "big" girl, but she's only a size 16. In this day in age I think she's not big, she's just normal and I love her and the author for it. Her size plays a big part in the story and again makes for laugh out loud moments. Between a spoiled sister, evil ex-husband and now a spoiled penniless hunk Erica just deserves a break.After watching the "playboy" at work trying to get himself out of his current predicament, Erica takes pity on Drew and throws him a bone. But no act of kindness goes unpunished and the day that she spends with him almost drives her insane. After a sleepless night, a case of roaring hormones and a pep talk Erica takes the reigns on her life and allows herself some naughty fun.A romp that was intense, but too short leaves both characters wanting more. Uncertainties fill them both and cause them to hold back, which only causes more dysfunctional behavior between them. Here's the good part, this is where the supernatural thread brings in some danger. Danger that happily brings our two together. Drew finally becomes a strong and defiant man, while Erica just kicks ass. It's wonderful to see them finally working together. Even better was getting to witness Erica reaming out Drew's mom.In the end they have confidence in themselves and in each other. This is a funny, fast read. It drives home the lesson on first impressions and the importance of one's actions. I hope that they'll be more on these two because I really do love the dynamics of their relationship. Not to mention that a certain ex-husband needs his ass handed to him.

She has had to prove herself as a mechanic ever since her father passed away and left her the garage. Things have been tight around the garage and when she gets the call to pick up a stranded Ferrari, she hopes things will start to turn around for her. The owner is the typical rich playboy with an attitude and no money to pay for the repairs. On top of everything, her ex-boyfriend is harassing her to sell him her garage and he is trying to take her business from her.Drew has never had a problem getting women and suddenly the one he wants, doesn't want anything to do with him. He is stranded in a two-bar cell town with no money and rogue status. His mom and everyone have abandoned him and he has witches on his trail. Along the way, he not only begins to realize what a jerk he has become and that he doesn't like himself very much. His sexy mechanic makes him desire to be a better person and prove himself to her.I loved Erica, she is a typical female with curves that has the same doubts an fears every other female has. She doesn't think she is pretty and worries that she needs to lose weight. She is also self-sufficient. She owns her own garage and she can hang with the boys when it comes to fixing cars. Strange occurrences are causing her to doubt her work when the cars are ending up at her ex's shop. Now she has a sexy playboy that is broke staying with her. She sees something in him that he doesn't even see in himself. She decides to take a chance and agrees to a one night stand with him but she never dreamed she would lose her heart to him.Drew was a fun character that you just wanted to hit upside his head sometimes. He is obstinate and self-absorbed and when he realizes that he is broke and marked a rogue, he thinks his life is over. Being around Erica helps him realize what a jerk he has been and he doesn't like himself very much. She took a chance on him when everyone else turned them back on him, no money and all. He wants to do something nice for her to show her he's not the jerk she believes he is. In the end, he realizes that money isn't everything and he has been living his life for everyone but himself.Even though this was a short story, it was nice to see the transition in Drew. He starts out as a pompous, spoiled brat that has to re-evaluate his life. They worked well together and had good chemistry. Drew didn't always know the right thing to say but in the end he figured out that money doesn't solve all you problems. He figured out what he wanted out of life and Erica is the key.Overall I really enjoyed this book; it featured a curvy, self-sufficient woman and was a great read. I give Sweetly Bad 4 Flaming Hearts.

A really good example of personal sacrifices made to succeed in ones endeavours.When I left school my ambition was to fly aircraft, but through circumstances was not able to so. I lived this book all the way. I am now 80 years old so things have changed in aviation since the early 1950'sEasy to read and keeps you with the story right through.

The questions, 'Will they make it?' and, 'How will they make it?' kept me turning the pages to the very end. Margaret, Bane, Jon and the Major have stayed with me long since I finished reading about them.I should add that if you're someone who gets twitchy when people talk about their faith then this book isn't for you. Set in a future dystopia where religious persecution goes along with a murderous social selection programme, it doesn't flinch in portraying what it might mean to be a Christian in a crazy and oppressive world.There's plenty to think about and lots to enjoy, especially a great firework sabotage scene and some well-placed defiance of rotten authority figures. But this is more than an escape story: it's a story about facing your fears, telling the truth, about 'when is it okay to be selfish?' and finally, about making the ultimate sacrifice

You Won't Want to Put Down This Tension-Filled Tale By An Open Book Family This was my first foray into a dystopian world - one with a Catholic underground, a brave and reckless hero, and a strong and virtuous heroine. Well-drawn characters and enough tension and action to keep you turning pages long after you should have set the book down. I don't believe my heart has ever thumped like that during a novel's climax. Can't wait for book two!The author is a fellow member of the Catholic Writers Guild.

Very rarely do I come across a Catholic/Christian book that has me in such suspense that I literally think of nothing else until I finish it! I read quite a bit of Catholic fiction, and this book is a rare gem among the genre. Corinna Turner has a beautifully unique writing style--think G.K. Chesterton meets Suzanne Collins--that cleverly intersperses Catholic theology with a badass plot and characters!If reading a religious themed suspense novel with strong protagonists is right up your alley,this should be next on you list! I am just ecstatic that "I Am Margartet" is book #1 in a series of 4 books. I can't wait to read the rest!
